O Metrô, por meio do seu presidente, Luiz Carlos David, admitiu que houve alertas sobre os riscos de um acidente para o consórcio privado Via Amarela antes do desastre. David, no entanto, afirmou à rádio CBN que não recebeu os avisos e soube da gravidade da situação somente após a tragédia, que matou sete pessoas.		The Metro, through its president, Luiz Carlos David, has admitted that there were alerts about the risks of an accident made to the private consortium Via Amarela before the disaster. David, however, told Radio CBN that he did not receive the alerts, and knew of the gravity of the situation only after the tragedy which killed seven people.
