Lies, Damned Lies, etc.
See just this Post & Comments / 0 Comments so far / Post a Comment /   HomeThe headline today that, "Yahoo edges Google in satisfaction ratings ..." caught my eye.
In the end, a whole lot of nothing. Microsoft is edging up too - considering that nobody I know wants to have anything to do with Vista I have to as a few qualifying (?!)s.
Fortunes are won and lost in this game of course. Who cares about this except the millionaires it makies? Not me, that's for sure - all of this software is shit compared to what went on even a few years ago. Bad joke.

HTML continues to be nothing but a TRIBULATION !!! Disfunctional shit!
What I am really thinking about is a house that I am watching the boys build on the hill behind the shipyard.
The poor are free to live as they can while the middle class is free to live as they must.
No permits for this house, no official engineer nor architect either except maybe the lads doing the building or the guy who is paying them. Carrying bricks up the hill five at a time, and bags of cement, bits of wood for window and door headers. Nothing happens on Friday.
I will continue to post pictures as it progresses.
Who has more dignity would you say? A man who builds his house with no say-so but his own? Or a man who takes his shoes off when he is told to do so at the airport?
They put up the bricks first, then pour the columns at the corners ... interesting ... makes for less formwork for one thing and rebar is pushed up into the exposed ends of the bricks, presumably the concrete slides up in there as well.
Doesn't look like there will be many windows on the downhill side ... curious ... there is quite a good view of Guanabara Bay and downtown Niteroi ... hummm.
Looks like it will stop at one level - to preserve the views of the houses behind it maybe - too bad in a way, I would have been inclined to put a terace on top with a sun-cover.
Getting there ... interesting sun-break openings ...
