Trafigura 'to pay out over waste'
these maggots did the deed in 2005, and four years later they are being permitted to buy their way out of it, they should be forced to clean every inch and sell up
ach ...
Procedural thinking and algorithms provide an efficiency/effectiveness hedge on increasing populations and decreasing educational standards but go against the human flow - nobody really wants procedures, certainly not someone else's. Thank God for Coyote.

A-and I wonder whatever happened to Joe Hall and the Continental Drift? The lyrics of his amazing 'Vampire Beavers' and 'Here Come da T'oid Woild" are nowhere on-line that I can find.
Ol' Guy Fournier, chairman of the board at CBC/Radio-Canada, got his pee-pee whacked for telling a 'crude' joke about Lebanon: "In Lebanon, the law makes it possible for men to have sexual intercourse with animals as long as they are females. To do the same thing with male animals could lead to the death penalty." Looks like a bad rap. I thought it was sort'a funny, not a big deal, guess I must be one'a those unregenerate reprobates too ... 20/09/06, John Doyle, One less embarrassment at Fort Dork, (Archive). He can call it 'Fort Dork' which surely makes some one into a victim doesn't it? For the record, I think calling it Fort Dork is funny too. Doubly ... triply damned! (Real men prefer praeterite.)

Meera Selva's article (link below) uses an interesting rhetoric - she (he?) quotes Greenpeace spouting nonsense like, "That this has happened again is extraordinary" (hardly), and the discussion of computer and electronic waste is around the burning of plastic - ignoring the irony that tens of millions of computers are being trashed instead of distributed ("by their fruits ye shall know them" eh?); and it would be easy to dismiss the whole article on that basis. I nearly did, but then I thought ... wait a minute ... and here it is:
I searched around for a bio on Meera Selva, found nothing, an African correspondent for The Independent is as far as I got. Somebody should do up an on-line database of writers & pundits.
This is all in the (Archive) as well.

from Matthew: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
Funny that I should stumble into this particular distraction this morning. I have been thinking of myself rather harshly in the last while - wondering what my 'fruits' might turn out to be. My children? I guess that is the easiest way to look at it - and I guess that would make me a good tree. That I am not in good relationship with them, nor with anyone else for that matter ... well, long and short, I figgure it is the fire I am headed for. If I could see what it is that I am doing wrong I would change it - God knows that already if He's listening.
Footnote:
Someone made a favourable remark to me on some of the pictures I have posted. Here are a few more of a young woman called Tatiane - I have posted one of them before. I know you can fake orgasms; hell! most of what is around today in every realm, nevermind porn, seems to be tainted by some bogus quality; but I don't think you can fake happiness and laughter without some difficulty, and this woman looks happy to me.
A lot of people, maybe most, think that it is nudity and sex which is appealing; prurience, concupiscence. To me, making a woman laugh is more important than sharing orgasms (though they are certainly good too). You could say it is my age and condition that makes me think this way; except that I have thought this way for many years; not always able to make someone laugh maybe, but willing for gladness. Anyway, that's why I posted Tatiane's photographs, because she is laughing in the first picture I saw of her - she also happens to be georgeously and delightfully beautiful, a bonus!
Now, he's hell-bent for destruction, he's afraid and confused,
And his brain has been mismanaged with great skill.
All he believes are his eyes
And his eyes, they just tell him lies. Bob Dylan, Licence to Kill.
I've been down on the bottom of a world full of lies.
I ain't looking for nothing in anyone's eyes.
Sometimes my burden seems more than I can bear.
It's not dark yet, but it's getting there. Bob Dylan, Not Dark Yet.
You hurt the ones that I love best and cover up the truth with lies.
One day you'll be in the ditch, flies buzzin' around your eyes,
Blood on your saddle. Bob Dylan, Idiot Wind.
